Community Extension Programmes
Visiting Neighbourhood
As part of our extension programme we visit our neighbourhood families and keep a cordial relationship. We also respond to their needs by way of counseling, health consultation and prayer.
Children's Group (age 8 - 15 yrs)
Children from our neighbourhood gather every month for integration, training of personality development, skill development, social orientation and value education. They look forward to this gathering as the programme is mainly through play and group interaction.
Women's Group
We organize women's groups and give awareness programmes. We teach them alternate modes of treatment and herbal medicine preparation especially at this time of increased medical expense. Income generating programmes and skill development are part of their training. Classes are planned for self-awareness, leadership training and social interaction to respond to atrocities in a holistic way leading to empowerment of women.
Young Girls
Violence against women is at an increase in Kerala and hence we organize a young girls' group to equip them to face the atrocities in families and society to grow in self-confidence, personality development and self-esteem..
Networking
We net work with other Institutions, Government, Charitable Trusts and NGOs.
Our Facilities
Accommodation / facilities are available for individuals and groups for retreats and training programmes not only for those who come to Ayushya for treatment but also for outside groups.
The quiet peaceful environment, the beautiful nature and garden provide a healing atmosphere for all.
